Acting your way to becoming a theatre company
Acting is a daunting profession!
Have you ever watched a theatre show and wanted to be involved? Have you been wanting to get into acting but haven’t made the leap? Then this 16 week acting course could be just the thing for you!
Led by experienced actor and theatre creator, Jemma Carlin-Wells, this 16 week acting course will give performers the chance to explore and develop new acting techniques, as well as learning how to function as part of an actors company.
This workshop is designed to cater to its students, so whether you’ve never acted before or perhaps you’ve already started your journey and want to update your skill set with some fresh techniques and have the opportunity to form a theatre company then this course is for you.
You will pick up essential acting skills, such as characterisation, posture, projection and so much more, accumulating into performing a text in front of a live audience.
At the end of the course you will be invited to become part of the Creative Culture South West family by forming a theatre company with some seed money.
The course lasts 16 weeks starting on Sunday 5th April and ending on Sunday 19th July between 2pm and 6pm.
